We have great public schools here in the Conejo Valley! The Conejo Valley Unified School District (CVUSD) is home for many students in the Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park areas. With over 19,000 students, the Conejo Valley Unified School District has 17 elementary schools, one K-8 school, four middle schools, three comprehensive high schools, one-online blended school (grades 8-12) and one continuation high school. CVUSD also offers pre-school, early child care, transitional kindergarten and other other academic alternatives including Adult Education opportunities.

Teachers are the heart of CVUSD educational system. Some of the top teaching professionals work in the district providing your children with phenomenal educational services. While teachers are the heart, physical surroundings provide support. Schools in the CVUSD are equipped with safe and comfortable classrooms. Over the last few years, the district has been updating schools city wide by renovating bathrooms, installing new roofs, repaving parking lots, updating playground equipment and modernizing all track, fields and bleachers at all high schools.

In the CVUSD, every child matters. By providing Honors, AP classes, an International Baccalaureate Program and School-to-Career opportunities, the CVUSD wants every child to reach their full potential. Additional support and intervention programs are available for English Language Learners, at-risk students, and students with alternative learning styles.
